A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we talk.

Is DPP Path available today?

The platform is in development. We are preparing an early-access programme and inviting businesses to discuss their needs. Availability and pilot scope will be discussed individually.

Is Trace Merch part of the European Commission?

No. Trace Merch is an independent software and services project. We link to official sources and distinguish their guidance from our own explanations.

Will the platform guarantee compliance?

No software alone establishes legal conformity. DPP Path is being designed to support information management, evidence review and passport preparation. Responsible businesses and their qualified advisers must determine applicable obligations.

Can businesses outside Europe use DPP Path?

Yes. We are developing DPP Path for manufacturers, exporters, suppliers and importers working together to supply the EU market. Requirements depend on the product, the applicable rules and each business’s role; being outside the EU does not automatically remove obligations when supplying that market.

Can I discuss products other than batteries?

Yes. Let us know your category and priorities. Our initial focus is LMT batteries; additional categories need their own requirements, evidence models and development scope.
